The Sky's Endurance

I am a sky, vast and wide

with colors that shift and slide

I’m red, blue and orange, warm and bright

or cloudy and dark, with little light

I take the pain, the happiness too

I hold the clouds, and the storms that brew

But just like the sky, I am infinite

I’ll keep on shining, taking pain and delight

For even though the clouds may come,

And darkness tries to make me numb,

I know the colors will return,

And I'll keep shining, for all to learn.

I reflect the moods that pass on by

I can be clear, or make you sigh

With the thunder and rain, I can be bold

or make you feel alone and cold

Know this, my friend, the choice is yours

To bring the colors or the storms to pour.

For just like the sky, hold the key,

To what kind of the world you’ll come to see.
